WINCHESTER CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL
The thriving Winchester Chamber Music Festival was founded by Kate and Dan in 2008 and continues to attract sell-out audiences, supported by a loyal Friends and Patrons network, an esteemed board of trustees and generous volunteers. It takes place each year during the first weekend of May - Thursday to Sunday - and uses various venues around the centre including the Theatre Royal, Discovery Centre, a selection of exquisite churches and the private chapel of Winchester College.
The London Bridge Trio invite special guest artists each year to perform a wide variety of mixed ensembles as well as featuring their own trio repertoire. Guests have included the Heath, Castalian, Navarra and Sacconi string quartets and the Gould Piano Trio as well as individual guests such as Esther Hoppe, Richard Lester, Maia Cabeza and Timothy Ridout. In addition to several concerts from morning til late night, the festival offers talks and discussions, an open rehearsal and a masterclass.
Winchester Chamber Music Festival is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered in England and Wales No 1160142
